Belt Buckle Bench
This bench was made in collaboration with the Industrial Designer Jennifer Yoko Olsen. The top is Sapele (African Mahogany) the legs are White Oak dyed black.

Small Coffee Table
This table is made from reclaimed wood from Build it Green! NYC. The type of wood is unknown, but it has a similar grain pattern and color to Teak. This design can be made from any common species. Finished with Tung Oil.

Reclaimed Oak Table
This table is made from reclaimed oak from Build it Green! NYC. The oak was salvaged from an old bourbon distillery. With every fresh cut you are able to catch strong sent of bourbon. The table top was salvaged from a solid oak top discarded onto the street. Finished with Tung Oil.

Record Case and Stereo Console Set
The record case is made from Baltic Birch ply-wood and uses a simple box joint in its construction. The ply-wood is left in its natural state which shows off its layered qualities. Designed with the Lp in mind, the record case can shelve 325 records and still have some shuffle room left over. These pieces are available for purchase on my website by contacting me thru email.

Korobi Desk
The Korobi Desk is made from solid walnut and finished with tung oil. Traditional Japanese carpentry techniques give the Korobi its unique coplanar, slanted-leg design. This desk is available for purchase on my website by contacting me thru email.

Coffee Table #1
This Elm coffee table is made from a salvaged city tree and incorporates a found machinery wheel, which is mounted with ball bearings and spins freely. The table legs are cut to be parallelograms, each coplanar to the one opposite creating a 90º footprint. The table is finished with tung oil.




BarStool
These solid birch bar stool seats were commissioned by the Savoy Restaurant, located in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan. They are hand turned and mounted on a metal frame base.

Custom Mahogany Window

This custom-designed Craftsman style window frame is made from solid mahogany. It is hand-planed and finished with tung oil. The window opens on a center pivot and latches closed with a ball catch.

Walnut Dining Table
This Dutch draw-leaf walnut dining table was custom designed to have two heights—37-inch bar height and 30-inch standard dining height—with removable extensions in the table legs. The table leaves are stored under the table top and can be pulled out to extend the table to an overall length of 98 inches.

Time/Timeless was designed by Peter Sagar in 2010 for Sukkah City, an international design competition. The Sukkah was constructed of solid douglas fir and featured two built-in benches. Joshua Friedman Design was commissioned by Peter Sargar for the construction and installation of Time/Timeless in Union Square in September, 2010.
